Licensing terms

The licensing terms below apply to all of NetworkDB's paid downloads and API access. A copy will be included with every item downloaded from our website.

Warranty

There is no warranty for our services and products, to the extent permitted by applicable law. NetworksDB.io and its representatives provide the products and services as is, without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Further, NetworksDB.io makes no representations or warranties of any kind as to the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, availability, functionality and compliance with applicable laws.

Liability

In no event unless required by applicable law or agreed to in writing will any NetworksDB.io representative be liable to you for damages, including any general, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the products and services (including but not limited to loss of data or data being rendered inaccurate or losses sustained by you or third parties or a failure of the services or products to operate with any programs), even if such holder or other party has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Publicity

Customers for database and API services are permitted to state publicly that they are a user of the services. Each customer agrees that NetworksDB may include such customer’s name and trademarks in a list of NetworksDB customers, online or in promotional materials. Each customer may opt out of the provisions in this section any time by contacting NetworksDB's support.

Licensing terms

The product or service is licensed to a physical or legal entity for its exclusive usage. This license cannot be transfered. A purchased database license is valid without limit in time, for the available database edition at the time of the purchase, and all subsequent database editions available during any included update period. This license grants the buyer the rights to exploit the purchased data but not redistribute it in any form, including derivative works, or making it available to the public through any mean. The buyer may use the data on as many projects, servers, devices and applications as necessary, as long as they are all owned by or leased to the same physical or legal entity.

This license explicitly prohibits usage of the data to offer free or commercial API services or any other related service that would duplicate or compete with the services offered by NetworksDB. The licensee acknowledges that it has no rights to the NetworksDB.io intellectual property and all such rights shall belong to NetworksDB.io.

The terms above do not apply to the NetworksDB.io's free downloads which are licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

Refund policy

NetworksDB.io will refund any purchases for which payment has been made at the condition that the data purchased was not downloaded at any point, or the API key has not been used. In order to be eligible for a refund, you must make your request in the 7 days following the purchase using the contact link on our website.
