Licensing Terms

Upon purchase, NetworksDB.io grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the purchased data products or API services subject to the terms outlined in this agreement.

What you can do:

• Use the data across unlimited projects, applications, and internal systems
• Deploy on any number of servers, devices, or environments you own or lease
• Integrate the data into your products and services for end users
• Store and process the data using your preferred tools and infrastructure
• Create derivative analyses and insights for internal business purposes

License scope:

The license is granted to a single physical person or legal entity. All usage must be by or on behalf of the licensed entity. If multiple separate legal entities require access, each must purchase their own license.

To protect the integrity of our data products and ensure fair use, the following activities are expressly prohibited:

Prohibited Uses:

• Redistributing, reselling, or sublicensing the data in any form
• Making the data available to the public or third parties
• Creating derivative datasets for distribution or sale
• Offering API services or data products that compete with NetworksDB
• Transferring your license to another person or entity
• Circumventing any technical protection measures

The licensee acknowledges that NetworksDB.io retains all intellectual property rights to the data, including copyrights, trademarks, and any proprietary methodologies used in data collection and processing.

Your license includes access to the data edition available at the time of purchase. Depending on your purchase type:

NetworksDB.io provides all products and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of data
• Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service availability
• Warranties of compliance with any particular legal requirements

While we strive to maintain high data quality through regular updates and validation processes, network information changes frequently. We recommend implementing appropriate verification procedures for critical applications.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NetworksDB.io and its representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Loss of data or data being rendered inaccurate
• Business interruption or operational failures
• Losses sustained by third parties
• Failure of the services to operate with other software or systems

This limitation applies regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such damages and whether any remedy fails of its essential purpose. Our total liability for any claim arising from this agreement shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

As a NetworksDB customer, you are welcome to publicly state that you use our services. In turn, you agree that NetworksDB may:

• Include your company name in our customer lists
• Display your logo on our website and marketing materials
• Reference your use of our services in case studies (with your approval)

You may opt out of these provisions at any time by contacting our support team. We will remove your information from our marketing materials within 30 days of receiving your request.

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. NetworksDB.io offers refunds under the following conditions:

Eligibility Requirements:

• Purchased data must not have been downloaded
• API keys must not have been used to make any requests
• Request must be made within 7 days of purchase

To request a refund, please contact us with your order details. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days and will be returned to your original payment method.

Note: Due to the digital nature of our products, we cannot offer refunds once data has been accessed or downloaded, as we have no way to verify that copies have been deleted.

The terms above apply specifically to paid products and services. NetworksDB.io also offers certain datasets as free downloads, which are governed by different terms:

Free downloads from NetworksDB.io are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). You are free to share and adapt these materials for any purpose, including commercial use, provided you give appropriate credit to NetworksDB.io.

NetworksDB.io reserves the right to modify these licensing terms at any time. When we make changes:

• Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date
• Significant changes will be communicated via email to active customers
• Existing licenses remain governed by the terms in effect at the time of purchase
• Continued use of subscription services after changes constitutes acceptance
